Dag Fyra (Day Four): Torsdag (Thursday)

My daily routine nowadays is to head for Swedish lessons in the morning till lunchtime and our favourite hangout is the COOP supermarket located downtown.

Other than that, it's rather too windy or far to explore other places for the time being, so just bear with me a little longer on the mundane stuff.

Breakfast was served on time at 8.30am by Chef Xu...

Breakfast: Bread, Fried Egg, Ham, Banana and Milo

It is now lunchtime after a 'tiring' day at Swedish lessons. The chef decides to take a break from the kitchen and settle for something simple yet nutritious...

Lunch: Cookies, Bananas, Melon and Milk

Grocery shopping for essentials such as pepper, salt and tomato sauce resulted in Chicken Bolognaise for dinner...

Dinner: Chicken Bolognaise

After dinner, it was time for a stroll around the area I shall call home for the next 5months or so. With great pleasure, I present to you my block (not N, it's O the lousy one with the wooden staircase)...

Run-down hut

There's a man-made bird's nest high up amongst the trees but the birds are definitely too large (pigeons here are around 2x the size of their counterparts in SG) to fit into that hole. Just for decoration perhaps...

Pigeon Hole

Some benches and BBQ facilities....

Other surrounding blocks in Delphi....

Some berries growing on a bush...

And as I mentioned in my previous post on the botanical gardens, the flowers are really lovely over here...

Pink Orchids

Just a side note regarding our insect friends over here. To the joy of some, there are NO ants, flies, cockroaches and of course NO lizards!! There are many bees collecting nectar from the plants though.
