Dag Två (Day Two) ; Tisdag (Tuesday)

Since I just came back from the first Swedish language lesson, I shall practise and write something in Swedish whenever I can in my blog posts.

Back to this posting, below's a shot at the surroundings of the building called Kårhuset where the General Information Meeting was held. According to my mentor (who's a really handsome Swedish), this is also the building which is commonly used by the Science faculty for lectures etc.

Kårhuset and Surroundings

The first breakfast was a little shabby as the supermarket I explored was way too expensive and way too little variety. So I settled with a loaf of multi-grain bread and margarine.

On the way back took this shot of Delphi Block E. The landmark/meeting point for the few of us stay in Delphi.

Being a freshie, naturally I got lost...and without a map too. But nevertheless, the time lost wasn't too great as I managed to locate the Biology faculty! Really nice and cool architecture. Everything looks so harmless and serene.

Went along with the Malaysians on exchange here to the International Desk etc and finally we ended up at downtown to shop for lunch. This was my lunch from those hotdog stands that we usually see in the movies/games. For 25 SEK (~SG5.80), I got this hotdog set. The sausage's real huge like 20cm long? The red gooey stuff tastes great too!

Today I tried a different supermarket on the others' recommendation downtown called COOP. Some call it "Co-op" and some call it a "Coop". This supermarket is really good compared to Willy's. The variety of stuff they have is really a lot...and one can even find Asian spices and sauces like Kikoman soy sauce etc. The price is reasonable and cheap relative to Willy's too.

New groceries equates to more ingredients for a better meal. For the second dinner in Sweden, I did something simple. Scrambled eggs, beef ham, soy sauce chicken and of course rice!
